The Elisabeth Severance Prentiss Bereavement Center
A community-based grief support program that provides services throughout Northern Ohio. They offer support to anyone who has experienced a loss due to death. Their mission is to assist the bereaved as they move through the grief process by providing support groups, education and training, consultation, bereavement counseling, and crisis response to the bereaved and those who work with them.

GriefShare - A Grief Recovery Support Group
GriefShare is a non-denominational group and features biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics. GriefShare Seminar/Support Group takes place on Wednesdays from 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. in the Hemphill Room at the Lake County YMCA Central Branch, located at 933 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio 44077. You are welcome to begin attending the GriefShare group at any session. Each is "self-contained", so you do not have to attend in sequence. You will find encouragement and help whenever you begin. You will be able to continue with GriefShare through the next cycle and view any of the videos you have not seen. Registration Fee is $20.

Licensed professional counseling from a Christian perspective for you and your family. Marcy Sacchini founded the Christian Counseling Center in 1984 to provide a Christian perspective in counseling. Previously, Marcy worked at the Lake County Mental Health Center and Lake County Center of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse. She is a Licensed Clinical Counselor, Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor, a member of American Association of Christian Counselors and the American Counseling Association.

The Christian Counseling Center is located in the Zion Lutheran Church, across the street from Lake Erie College. Park to the right of the building and enter through the glass doors of the side lobby. The counseling services have been sponsored by local churches for over 20 years, but are not directly affiliated with any denominations.
