Place of Birth: Newfoundland, Pennsylvania
Place of Residence: Fairport, Ohio

Roma was born on March 1, 1936 to the late Anna (Shupe) Eitel and Eugene Shupe. She passed on April 11, 2017.

Roma passed peacefully in her sleep as she joined her late husband William David Anderson in heaven the morning following their 63rd wedding anniversary. She spent her last days surrounded by friends and family.

She was the most loving mother, devoted wife and the fearless leader of our family.

Her favorite hobbies included cooking, crochet and spending time with her family.

Outside of raising her four children she worked at The Telegraph, Madison Police Department (dispatcher), News-Herald and the Lake Country General Health District.

She is survived by her children David “Jerry” (LuAnn), Wendy Crisostomo and Beth (Kevin) Mac Knight; grandchildren April Frazier, Tiffany Crisostomo, Anthony Anderson, Amanda (Mac Knight) Robinson, Melissa Mac Knight, Hillary Anderson, Eric Crisostomo; great grandchildren Shaylee Frazier, Kelsey Frazier and Noah Lopez.

She was preceded in death by her son Roy L. Anderson and brothers Robert (Bob) Shupe and Ralph Shupe.

We ask that you join us to celebrate her memory during visitation on Friday April 14th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Avenue,(opposite Lake Erie College) Painesville, Ohio. Funeral Service will be at 11:00AM at Johnson Funeral Home on Saturday April 15th with burial following at Riverside Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44110-2602.
