Obituary for Ralph C. Oliver
Mr. Oliver was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He graduated from Salt Lake Business College in Hutchinson, Kansas and went to work for Morton Salt where he worked for 35 years, retiring in 1987. Mr. Oliver had been an area resident since his transfer with Morton Salt in 1957.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita "Jackie" (Miller) whom he married on November 27, 1949 in Hutchinson, Kansas after a blind date that has lasted for the past 57 years. His is also survived by a daughter, Pamela Kaye Oliver of Columbus, Ohio and a brother, Walter Oliver of Stockton, California and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his step-mother Elna Oliver; a daughter Cynthia "Cyndy" Leigh Oliver and two sisters, Nolie Jaquith and Lela Reaka.
