Eda Lucy Oliver, age 93, died on September 23, 2013 at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord. She was born on September 21, 1920 in Bayonne, NJ to the late Lorenzo and Donata (Calleo) Nardelli.
Eda lived in Park Ridge, NJ until 1987 when she moved to Bayonet Point, Fl where resided for 18 years and was an active member in the St. Michael's Ladies Guild. For the past 8 years she lived in Mentor where she was a member of the Mentor Senior Center and St. Gabriel Church. Eda was a registrar for The Boys Scouts of America for 23 years.
Survivors are her daughter, Jeanne (Bill) Jamison of Concord and son, George (Jeanette) of Brick, NJ; grandchildren, Bill (Tracy) Jamison of Mentor, Michael (Melissa) Jamison of Lyndhurst, Christopher (Layli) Oliver of Eatontown, NJ, and Janna (Mark) Pogers of Durham, NC; great grandchildren, Jack, Carter, Alexis, Audrianna, Hadley, and Reza.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband George Oliver and sisters, Mary Parisi and Anna Nardelli.
Visitation will be on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 at Robert Spearing Funeral Home, 155 Kinderkamack Rd., Park Ridge, NJ 07656. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10:00AM at Our Lady of Mercy Church with burial in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Park Ridge, NJ.
