Obituary for Bernice E. Owen (Walling)
Bernice E. (Walling) Owen, 87 of Painesville, formerly of Richmond Hts., OH passed away Jaunary 16, 2015 at Kindred Care in Painesville.
She was born March 28, 1927 in Youngstown. Mrs. Owen had worked at crescent Meta and Progressive Insurance.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she is survived by her husband, Carmen "Jack"; children, Tom (Sis) Owen and David (Sue) Owen; grandchildren, Thomas (Sherrie) Owen, Lisa (Chris) Schaver, Amy (Ernie) Sladek, and Jessica (Matt) Gordon; as well as 7 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Burt and Mildred (Weisell) Walling, a sister, Leota Stager, and brother, James W. Walling.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 23 at St. Mary Church, 242 N. State St., Painesville. A memorial mass will take place at 11:00 a.m.
Arrangements by Johnson Funeral Home, Painesville.
