Obituary for Ronald E. "Skip" Onspaugh
Ronald E. "Skip" Onspaugh age 87 of Concord died on November 10, 2015 at his home. He was born on January 21, 1928 in Hartstown, PA to the late William and Eva (Collins) Onspaugh.
Skip was a machinist for 34 years at TRW in Euclid and retired in 1986. He was a US Navy veteran and served from 1945 to 1947. He was a proud and loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing and boating at his summer home at Pymatuning Lake.
He is survived by his wife, Leola M. (Cain); daughters, Rhona (Michael) Confer of Concord, Deborah (Dermot) Gosser of Chardon, Cheryl (Ronald) Foresi of Madison, Joy (Vincent) Genova of Concord, Leslie Balata of Concord, Lois Schultz of Timberlake; son, Steven (Jane) Onspaugh of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, John Heart, Mark Werbeach, Holly Malloy, Carly, Kelly, and Maria Genova, Jeanna and Lauren Gosser, Alex and Hallie Schultz.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings; Harriet Mason, Russell Onspaugh, Kenneth Onspaugh, and Duane Onspaugh
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 2:00PM at Pilgrim Lutheran Brethren Church, 9514 Johnnycake Ridge Rd., Mentor, Ohio 44060 with visitation starting at 1:00PM until the service.
