Obituary for Gerrie Hilborn (Fulmer)
Gerrie C. Hilborn of Painesville Twp., died on July 15, 2016 at Tri Point Medical Center. She was born on July 25, 1931 in Mayfair, PA to the late Walter and Agnes Fulmer.
Gerrie met her husband Bob Hilborn, from Perry, while he was in the Navy. She was a devoted and loving wife for 53 years until his death in 2006.
She was a sales associate at Carlisle's in Painesville and worked in many capacities for the Painesville City Schools. She was a longtime devoted supporter of the Harvey Athletic Boosters , Painesville Little League, and the Painesville Senior Center. She was a volunteer at BOK Tower Gardens, bird sanctuary, in Lake Wales, FL, and Lake East Hospital. She enjoyed vacationing in Treasure Island, FL.with her husband.
Survivors are her children; Mike (Marybeth) of Painesville Twp., Barry (Nancy) of Concord, Debra (Frank) Byrnes of Perry, Bruce of Painesville Twp.; grandchildren, Kristen (Chris) Wise, David (Kelly) Hilborn, Michael (Erica) Byrnes, Ashley Byrnes, Lauren Byrnes, Kelsey (Ryan) McCoy, Abbey Hilborn, Michelle (Nate) Fairchild, Nick Hilborn; great grandchildren, Brady and Lilah Wise.
A private graveside service will be held.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Harvey Athletic Boosters, 200 W. Walnut St., Painesville, Ohio 44077 or Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44110-2602.
