Obituary for Martin Craig Thornton
Mr. Martin C. Thornton, age 61 of Perry passed away May 9, 2017 at his home. He was born July 3, 1955 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Carl E. and Agatha (Snodgrass) Thornton.
Marty enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed traveling, animals and spending time outdoors. He will be remembered for his jokes and sense of humor. He was truly one of a kind.
Marty is survived by his girlfriend Stacey Denzig; sons Martin C. Thornton II, William M. (Sheri) Thornton, David L. Thornton and daughter Brandy J. Thornton; grandchildren Shyenne M. Ledford, Logan S. Thornton, Charles X. Thornton and Hunter A. Buckholtz; brothers Alan "Lee" (Yolanda) Thornton and Dana Thornton and sister Valarie Thornton. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on May 27th at Squire's Castle in Willoughby Hills. The time will be announced.
