A Mass of Christian Burial for LuVerne M. Vincello, age 88 of Painesville Twp., Ohio will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Gabriel Church, 9935 Johnnycake Ridge Rd., Concord, Ohio.
Mrs. Vincello passed away March 15, 2010 at the Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio. She was born May 3, 1921 in Armour, South Dakota to the late Wesley and Faith (Nolan) Montagne.
Mrs. Vincello was employed with the Lake County Commissioners as an Office Staff Support Receptionist. Prior to that she had worked at Phillips School in Painesville in the Admissions Dept. and served as Librarian. She started the libraries at both Hadden Elementary School in Painesville Twp. and Phillips School in Painesville.
She is survived by her husband Phillip C., whom she married in 1945 at St. Joan of Arc Church in Las Vegas, Nevada; her daughter Sylvia E. (Keith) Kist of Euclid, Ohio and her son Joseph W. Vincello of Painesville Twp., Ohio as well as several nieces, nephews and godchildren.
Mrs. Vincello was preceded in death by her sisters Bernice Doohen and Charolene Luker.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Avenue (opposite Lake Erie College), Painesville.
